She just gets better and better. I was all nostalgic watching this, since it's one of my favorite songs by Cyndi. I remember seeing her at Six Flags Over Georgia in 1984 and being offered a doobie by some old guys. Ahhh....the 80s.
I wanted to use the original video but all the sound quality was horrible...just because I wanted to see the Bangles...
Speaking of old guys...I realized the other day that I'm probably older now than the guys I considered old and creepy in my teens...that's a tough one to wrap my head around....
Hmmmm...I don't remember The Bangles being in the original video. The vid I remember was filmed in London and she's dancing in the street and in Trafalgar Square.
the bangles provided background vocals for "change of heart."
i adore cyndi.
i remember watching her on johnny carson when i was just coming out to myself. she kept saying: it's okay to be yourself. she kept saying: it doesn't matter if others think you're strange, be yourself.
i've seen her live three times. the last time she touched my hand and i swear i saw stars.
I might have confused the original vid with a clip I saw of her and the bangles while recording...ugh...soooo long ago.
Eduardo: She was a big favorite of mine as I was starting to realize I wasn't like the other boys...I loved the fact that she was so patently singular.
